About Nail Polish
Pet-specific nail polish is water-based and non-toxic, formulated on the assumption that dogs chew their feet. It goes on after the nails are trimmed and smoothed.
We apply thin coats and let each dry properly before the next — the slow part is convincing your dog to hold still for it, which is why it works best on dogs who are already relaxed about paw handling.

* Some coats simply need more time — heavy double coats, dense undercoats, and long silky hair all take extra brushing, drying, and scissoring. Yes — pet nail polish is water-based and non-toxic. We never use human polish.
How long does it last?
Usually one to two weeks, less on dogs who walk a lot on pavement.
