About Creative Grooming (Color)
Creative grooming uses semi-permanent, pet-safe dye to add colour to the coat. It ranges from tipped ears and a pink tail to full patterns, and it washes out over several baths.
We only use dyes formulated for animals — human hair colour is not safe on dogs. Colour needs a clean, light-coloured coat to show properly, and it takes time to apply and set, so tell us at booking rather than on the day.

Appointments are priced by your dog's size, and creative grooming (color) is booked either as part of a full groom or as an add-on to it. Call for an exact quote.

* Some coats simply need more time — heavy double coats, dense undercoats, and long silky hair all take extra brushing, drying, and scissoring. Common Questions
Is the dye safe?
The pet-formulated dyes we use are. Never use human hair dye on a dog — it can cause chemical burns.
How long does the colour last?
Typically a few weeks, fading with each wash. It fades faster on lighter applications.
