Paw Pad Trim
Clearing the hair between the pads so your dog can actually grip the floor.
About Paw Pad Trim
Hair growing between the paw pads turns a dog's foot into a slipper. On tile or hardwood it removes their grip entirely — a lot of 'my old dog is getting wobbly' turns out to be a traction problem.
We clip the hair back flush with the pads, clear anything packed between the toes, and check the pads themselves for cracks, foxtails, or embedded grit while we're there.
Who it's for
- Dogs slipping on tile, laminate, or hardwood
- Senior dogs losing confidence on smooth floors
- Hairy-footed breeds picking up debris outdoors

* Some coats simply need more time — heavy double coats, dense undercoats, and long silky hair all take extra brushing, drying, and scissoring. These breeds, along with doodles and doodle mixes, are quoted individually based on size, coat condition, and the degree of matting. Call (714) 716-3015 for an exact quote.
Common Questions
Will this really help my dog stop slipping?
Very often, yes — it's one of the quickest wins available. Pads grip; hair doesn't.
Is it ticklish?
For most dogs, yes. We use a small quiet trimmer and keep it brief.
