About De-shedding Treatment
De-shedding targets the soft undercoat that double-coated breeds drop in sheets twice a year. It is not a shave: the guard coat stays intact and does its job, while the dead layer underneath comes out.
The treatment runs bath first — a shedding-formula shampoo and conditioner to loosen the undercoat — then a high-velocity dry that pushes the loosened hair out, then an undercoat rake and comb to collect what's left. The volume of hair that comes out surprises most owners.

Common Questions
Will this stop shedding completely?
No — shedding is normal and healthy. A good de-shed removes the dead coat in one session instead of over your carpet across six weeks.
Should I just shave my double-coated dog instead?
We'd steer you away from it. A double coat insulates against heat as well as cold, and shaving it can permanently change how it regrows.
