About Sanitary Trim
A sanitary trim clears the hair around the rear and genitals so waste doesn't catch in the coat. It's a small service that has an outsized effect on how clean a dog stays and smells between baths.
We use a fine blade and keep the trim short and neat without going so close that the skin gets irritated. It takes only a few minutes and is included in a full groom.

Appointments are priced by your dog's size, and sanitary trim is booked either as part of a full groom or as an add-on to it. Call for an exact quote.

* Some coats simply need more time — heavy double coats, dense undercoats, and long silky hair all take extra brushing, drying, and scissoring. Common Questions
Is this uncomfortable for my dog?
It shouldn't be. We use a guarded blade and work quickly in an area most dogs would rather we didn't linger.
Is it included in a full groom?
Yes. You'd book it on its own as a between-grooms tidy-up.
