Conditioning Treatment
Puts moisture and slip back into a coat that's gone dry, dull, or brittle.
About Conditioning Treatment
A conditioning treatment is applied after shampooing and left to sit, so it works into the hair shaft rather than rinsing straight off. The result is a softer coat that combs more easily and holds tangles far less readily.
We pick the formula to the coat — a lighter rinse-out for fine hair that flattens easily, something richer for coarse or sun-dried coats. It sits while we massage it through, then rinses fully.
Who it's for
- Dry, dull, or static-prone coats
- Dogs who swim, or who live a lot in sun and salt air
- Long coats that tangle again days after a groom

* Some coats simply need more time — heavy double coats, dense undercoats, and long silky hair all take extra brushing, drying, and scissoring. These breeds, along with doodles and doodle mixes, are quoted individually based on size, coat condition, and the degree of matting. Call (714) 716-3015 for an exact quote.
Common Questions
How is this different from the moisturizing treatment?
Conditioner works mostly on the hair itself — slip, softness, manageability. The moisturizing treatment is aimed more at the skin underneath.
How long does it last?
Typically a couple of weeks, longer if the coat is brushed at home between visits.
