About Teeth Brushing
Dental disease is one of the most common health problems in dogs, and it starts with plaque hardening into tartar. Brushing at a groom won't replace veterinary dental work, but it helps hold the line.
We use enzymatic, pet-safe toothpaste — never human toothpaste, which contains fluoride and often xylitol — and brush the outer surfaces where buildup concentrates. It's quick, and most dogs tolerate it well once the taste registers.

* Some coats simply need more time — heavy double coats, dense undercoats, and long silky hair all take extra brushing, drying, and scissoring. Common Questions
Does this replace a vet dental cleaning?
No. Tartar below the gumline can only be removed by a vet, usually under anaesthetic. This is maintenance between those.
Can you remove tartar?
We don't scrape teeth — anaesthesia-free scaling is a vet-level procedure and doing it badly damages enamel.
